ECCTA and Fraud Risk: A Cross-Sector Roundtable

8th October | 10:00 - 13:00 | John Cadbury House - Aston University

A cross-sector roundtable for counter fraud professionals and risk and compliance leaders

The Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act (ECCTA) introduced a new ‘failure to prevent fraud’ offence. For the first time, an organisation may be criminally liable where an employee, agent, subsidiary undertaking, or other ‘associated person’, commits a fraud intending to benefit the organisation and the organisation did not have reasonable fraud prevention procedures in place.

Join the Aston Fraud Research Group (FRG) for a free, engaging face-to-face event bringing together anti-fraud professionals and risk and compliance leaders from across sectors to discuss the implications of the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act (ECCTA), the growing challenge of fraud risk and to share best practice on how to combat fraud.
